Ao Phang Nga National Park is a national park located in the Phang Nga Province with a total area of approximately 250,000 rai or 400 square kilometers which are mostly covered by a large area of mangrove forests. These natural habitats provided by the mangroves provide an environment for abundant fish and makes for excellent snorkeling. Phang Nga is home to the largest mangroves in all of Thailand.

James Bond Island

James Bond Island is one of the most unique rock formations in all of Thailand and has become a popular destination for tourist around the world. It orginally got it’s name from the 007 movie “The Man with the Golden Gun” which was filmed there in 1974.

The area is situated 25 km north-east of Phuket. It consists of numerous dramatic limestone cliffs rising sheer out of the waters. The most famous one being James Bond Island with its needle formed limestone rock.

Koh Panyee

koh panyee tour

Koh Panyee is a small island with a population of 2,500 Thai, all of whom are 100% Muslim, making it the highest Muslim population density in all of Thailand. Their island was miraculously completely unaffected by the massive Tsunami in 2009. The village has its own school, a mosque, a health center, lots of small souvenir shops and a handful of large restaurants, all facing the sea, where tourists can enjoy a fresh seafood lunch. The lunch provided here was delicious and you will make friends sitting at large shared group tables specially reserved for the tour.

They work on tips only and our guy was pretty awesome so we tipped 100 baht each. you can even get coconuts from boat vendors.
